Cecilé E. Sadler
Cecilé is a graduate student researcher at the MIT Media Lab in the Lifelong Kindergarten Group advised by Mitchel Resnick. Her research focuses on studying the intersection of computing and creative learning through a critical lens. She is interested in investigating how critical pedagogy and liberatory practice can be leveraged to design tools, experiences, and environments for children of color to develop their creativity, agency, computational skills, and cultural identity through playful learning experiences with technology.
Prior to joining the MIT Media Lab Cecilé earned her B.S. and M.S in computer engineering from North Carolina State University and Duke University respectively.
